Description of the model
The HGSYSTEM can be used to modelthefollowing
releasescenarios:
(1)A hole or a pipe-break in a pressurized containment(steady-or transient-states,one-phase
or two-phase jets)
(2)Instantaneous release following failure of the vessel
(3)Releases from vents or stacks (steady-state jet)
(4)Evaporation from spilled material(a steady-state or time-varying dense gas plume).
